MAP'S NAME: Train Towns | Alpha 3b
MAP'S FILE NAME: dods_traintowns_alpha3b.bsp
GAMEMODE: Territorial control
PLAYERS SUPPORTED: 32

Substantially, this experimental map consists of two towns linked by a near one kilometer long railway with two trains moving along it, each one starting from one of the towns respectively. Flags are situated on both the towns, so the teams must use a train to quickly move from one to another.
Both teams normally spawn on the first town from west but, as long as a team is holding all the last three flags of the second one, he will respawn on it.
Each train has a resupply wagon which cantains several pickable weapons. Due to this, installing a specific server-side mod (see installation istructions) is highly recommended, otherwise these pickable weapons will have only one amount of ammo.

If you will upload this map to your server, i would like that you send me its IP address, so i can play it, even with you.

I am very curious to know what you feel while playing on this map and what gameplay defects in your opinion it has.

I have had the idea at the base of this map while playing on the dod_berlin_express_fmc one.

As specified, this map is at alpha stage, so nothing of it is definitive.

VERSION HISTORY:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alpha 1
- Initial release
Alpha 2
- Added another train.
- Now each train has a resupply wagon where to pickup weapons.
- Added three usable cannons.
- Now the team that captures the last three flags obtains the respawn on the east town.
Alpha 3:
- Remade the first spawn zones. Now is possibile to flank and to go behind an MG placed in the alley in front of first station's stairs. Also, allied team can imprison axis players (through a button in their spawn) who are around their spawn, so much probably doing spawn killing.
- Reorganized the objects of the first town for the sake of more covering possibilities and less symmetry.
- Moved trains closer each other; now is possibile to jump from a train to another.
- Added some temporary covering for stations to reduce sniper camping from the middle little hills.
Alpha 3b:
- Moved the allied spawn at near the same distance from the fountain of the axis spawn.
- Now both teams have an anti-spawnkilling mechanism.
- Added more covering objects.
- Fixed, through a SourceMod plugin , the pickable weapons giving only one ammo, now they give more.
- Overall fps should be slightly increased
- Minor fixes
